Powerhouse amp, it's basically 2 Caspian power amps in a single (bigger) case with a massive power supply (specced for 5 channels so over specced for 4).
I'm selling it for what I paid from PFM - £350 - which is the going rate for a standard Caspian power amp. Plus this has been recently serviced so it's a total bargain.
Perfect for biamping difficult speakers, but it's an iron fist in a velvet glove. You could just use 2 channels and still benefit from the bigger power supply so it's still a better choice than the standard 2 channel version even if you don't need all 4 channels.
I'm only selling as I've got hold of a pair of Monarchy Audio class A monoblocs which are sweeter but don't have the power and drive of this. As I don't listen loudly the sweetness at low volume won me over but it was a close run thing!
It's currently near Durham and can be collected until Saturday. I can arrange for it to be in London in a couple of weeks if preferred (20% deposit required). Way too heavy to post. I could probably be persuaded to post at the buyers cost and risk if really necessary but would rather avoid.
