Hi Tony,

I have a Quad 405-2 with a suite of NetAudio upgrades. NetAudio'd main boards, with upgraded Burr Brown ICs, and the NetAudio dual mono PSU board. It has phono input sockets and banana output sockets. It's in very good cosmetic condition. I have owned this amp since I bought it in 1983. Needless to say it fits your budget and I live near Sevenoaks.

I have just decided to list it, so your Wanted ad is nicely timed. Drop me if you'd like a chat and some photos.

Hi Tony, I will have my Tresham up for sale soon, it's a SR-402 280w of magical MOSFet power. It is currently with Mark Westley, the guy who made them... having a service, but once I get it back, you could pop down and have a listen to it....I'm based down the road from you in Hornsey London...the amp will blow any Quad amp out of the water, for sound quality, dynamics and soundstage. Grunt, and the power to control bass in any speaker comes as standard!
We'll talk about price, but it is near your budget. I have another, which is a keeper.
