For sale. My Audio Research Ref 75 power amplifer in perfect functional and cosmetic condition. I don't think I need to say much about this amplifer, there are lots of reviews online, all excellent. It has had very little use in the last year and there is lots of life left in the valves.

I had a little drama once with a duff valve that died but otherwise it has performed perfectly. It is a breeze to operate including bias adjustment which uses an included tool and is done from the front using the UV meters in Bias Mode.

This replaced the huge Cary monoblocks and has never failed to impress me. I've always used it with the UV meters switched off as I detected a slight improvement but if you like big flashy UV's then you will be in heaven.

It uses XLR connectors (see rear photo) and I will throw in the high grade professional RCA to XLR plugs which retail at over 90 quid.

It was serviced about 4 years ago here at an authorised centre in Valencia.

It is with all original packaging, documentation etc. 3,200.00 GBP ovno + shipping.

Feel free to ask me questions.

Mods, if there is a problem with this ad please tell me and I will rectify it.

Looks fantastic! And I bit it sounds likewise.

Any idea how much shipping to the UK would be? I'm guessing it would be subject to import duty and VAT?

Hi. Shipping to UK would be around 60 quid with insurance but the problem is customs. Not sure what I could do about that. What is the vat rate right now?

It seems the phantom of import duties is casting a shadow on a bargain. If you are seriously interested then message me and we can try to figure out the best way forward. Price is negotiable to take account of this.

Once knew a man who bought a Citroen SM 'short' engine over as hand luggage, so......I'm afraid this wouldn't be so easy lol. Will work with buyer price wise to solve the customs problem.

It's pretty obvious that the thought of paying out a fortune in customs and vat is putting people off. The only way I can help with that is to lower the price and lose out myself so price drop to 2,500 GBP - a bargain price for this amp.

Shipping and taxes not incl but a discount of 700 quid from the original asking price of 3,200, should cover that easily.

A sale within the EU makes more sense surely?
