...Has anyone tried them?

I'm thinking of giving them a go as there are a couple of 'critical' positions in my amp and phono stage where these might be just the ticket! :)

I have a quad to use in the balanced preamp I am building, but I am leaving using them until its boxed up, so they don't suffer any strain on their lead outs. So I haven't tried listening to them yet.

Okidokey... let me know what you think when the time comes please, Nick. If you would? :)

Déjà vu moment! I'm sure I've asked this before, come to think of it, but just got tumbleweeds in response.

Hey Mike!

I've played with the equivalents from Texas Components here in the US and they're quite nice. In my application at the end of the day I ultimately preferred my long time favorite Ohmite Little Demon carbon comps, but for critical positions, especially in a phono stage, the Z-foils might well have won the day.

Of course there's no substitute for trying something for yourself, so really what I'm saying is that I think it's worth taking a chance on them and giving them a try.

Good luck!

I'm tempted to try some on my phono boards
