Hello. I'm Steve and I'm from Wilmslow. I'm more into fast cars and jetboats than music but I'm shopping for a new system for my home cinema room so I thought what the heck, I'll give the place a try. Do you have a showroom or is it all online?
Steve
Hi Steve,
Welcome to Aos, but...
Do you have a showroom or is it all online?
Eh?
Yeah Hi Steve - I wonder if you don't realise that this is "just" a hi-fi forum where like-minded (or not!) individuals discuss the various aspects of hi-fi (some home cinema) and music. Some items are sold in the "classified" section, but they are normally member to member transactions, although some trade members do also promote their equipment, and we have a few dealers who may be able to help you out.
Might be worth adding another post detailing what you are looking for, and rough budget and we can possibly help you spend your money! ;)

Sorry, I was recommended a place but the wrong Art of Sound must have come up in google. I was after this Art of Sound:
http://art-of-sound.org.uk/
Kind of confusing but no harm done.

Hi Steve,
I see... easily confused. However, seeing as you are here, why not stick around? :)
I'm sure you'll find some like-minded individuals who can share their experiences and help further your own 'journey' into the world of hi fidelity sound! :)
Best wishes...

Hi & welcome if only briefly!
The guys are right, why not stay here for a bit & get some help from some like minded folks who aren't motivated by the desire to relieve you of your hard-earned lolly!
Most of us are better at stringing together a coherent sentence that the folks at that other Art of Sound!
I loved this bit..........
"New conception that allows modern valve amplifier, reckoned to be discharged, to appear on the European market is paradoxical in itself. Fact is that all seemed to be of secondary importance have already become not just supreme but definitly determinant and to the contrary recent primary radio-designing things are becoming third-rate if it is not to say absurd.
Nowdays the only criterion of vital capacity of modern valve amplifier is quality. Everything else is being sacrificed for this matter."
Hehehe!

Any company that has a "Turn Table" (sic) called "Milky Stork" warrants further discussion, at the very least! :D
Although we may have to look into the loudspeaker range first: "Blend of dignity, who appreciate music and audio files. Expressive and at the same time reference sound, natural, high-resolution in the entire audio range. Excellent channel audio scenes, rhythms of music. The broad thrust of a larger zone of comfortable listening. Full transfer of the main strengths of all shades of emotion and emotion of music. Analogue sound "flagship" SN-1, except for the sound pressure promoted."
I'm guessing (though I could be wrong (actually I am always wrong, speak to the wife for references)) that English is not the first language for these guys... The contact number appears to be a UK mobile, though...
I think Steve we can help with perhaps a more "conventional" dealer or two, but who knows - "Elite speakers and cables mezhblochnye in my range - it is the cables, set up the head of Constantine ZKI Zaporozhtsevym" may be exactly what you are seeking!

Anything wrong with that? I use a UK mobile number instead of a land line so that customers can still reach me out of office hours :).

Nothing at all - my point was that they are definitely UK based, despite what appears to be some confusing use of English language.

I should say so. The Taiwanese guys I work with speak & write better English than that.
