Tipping the speaker back

I have a small pair of small speakers on 60cm stands. 65 or even 70 would probably have been better, but the lower speakers are domestically more acceptable.

I have pushed a pencil under the front of each speaker so the tweeter is beaming up a little - it may be better.

A pair of rubber feet at the front would do the job too, as might a strip of rubber. Are there more elegant solutions on the market?

Probably not today Brian on the domestic market. Whatever suits you and gets you to forget about the hifi and concentrate on the music.

Is 5mm enough? Stick two of these on each front corner which might work, and if a bit further back would disappear from view and increase the angle.

How about a set of small rubber doorstop wedges that could be trimmed to the right size once you've found the best angle?

SD Acoustics speakers of a certain age respond very well to tilting back a little and I remember Heybrook supplied a 'thingy' which went between the HB2's and the stand to do this.
