...beauty is of course in the eye of the beholder, but personally I think it looks a bit of a bloater, (and that coming from a 401 owner!) especially with those big feet... I don't like the contrasting diagonal bit on the front either, and I'm not sure it will age too gracefully. Bet the build quality is good, though. Up against some tough competition at that price too.

Do you have information that it actually IS based on DJ gear, Dave, or is it an assumption based on the 1300? It does look very similar though, I must admit!

Even though the price is in US DOLLARS (not GBP) it's still on the steep side, even if it does look posh.
