Snell k mk 1
Audio note silver wired
These had new woofers fitted by Puresound a number of years back.
When doing this, measurements were taken from an original pair, and the crossovers adjusted accordingly for each driver.
So very similar to the original process carried out at the snell factory.
I believe this was done as a better, and far more expensive alternative to mere re-foaming.
The results ar stunning.
They were at the wam show a few years back and were very well received.
They have a lovely veneer with just one small nick of any note, that is very small.
The mark arcing around/above the tweeter is blue tack, used to seal the tweeter in.
In the space of a day i have gone from a buying to selling mode.
Hence my BP valve pre is also for sal and maybe some other gear soon.
As an average pair of snell k mk 1 can fetch £300 these days, these are available for collection at what i paid,
£450.
Lovely, especially with valves.
Collection form Eton wick, near windsor.
I reserve the right to change my mind on these (probably several times!).
