Bristol analogue - Hello

Hello from Bristol UK.

I'm listening to a Linn / EAR Valve / Impulse H2 combination that I'm very happy with. There's a Naim ND5XS2 snuck in there for streaming.

Currently, I am restoring the Impulse H2s - hoping to share information with people on the forums here.

Hi Tom/Rob....which one is it? I'm Rob although called many other colourful names at times:D

I have never heard a pair of H2's but would like to as I remember the quirky Jimmy Hughes article in HiFi Choice back in the 80s. He used them back to front so that the sound bounced off the walls:eek:

Welcome to AoS Tom/Rob (?), from a fellow Bristolian.

I was born and raised in Bristol (Clifton), but after secondary education I left and moved around a bit. I bought my first audio gear from Audio Bristol (are they still there?) and from Radford HiFi.

Nice system you have there. A friend of mine used Impulse H2s with a valve amplifier (Audio Innovations 500).

What are your tastes in music?
