Shaun H here long time member of AOS since around 2008. I had some computer catastrophe a month or two back and so rebooted everything including forum memberships due to a total loss of logins and passwords.
I recently got back into limited vinyl replay with the intention of only purchasing my own selection of 'classics' even though that means many things to many people. Still passionate about music and its replay as well as photography. I also recently became a user of headphones but certainly not as a replacement for loudspeakers. Favourite current sounds are Zero 7 and Morcheeba but also some Blue Note jazz.
At the moment I live close to the coast in the East Riding of Yorkshire but originally come from Lincolnshire.
Last purchase ? When it Falls by Zero 7 on vinyl.
Last purchase gear wise ? Audio Technica ATOC9 XML.
It's nice to be back here. All the best everyone.
Welcome back to AoS Shaun.
Yes you are right - there is some great stuff on the Blue Note label.
Welcome again
Barry

Geoff, it sounds gorgeous with (for me) the best being in the bass. Massive amount of grip and definition. Lovely restrained treble and amazing resolution in the mids. My best ever amp by a long way.

This is my latest favourite but the Ortofon OM40 Super is now an Audio Technica ATOC9 XML.

Nothing wrong with 'Love Over Gold' - I think I have a copy somewhere.
