SME headshell query

Does anyone know the weight of the headshell that was originally supplied with the SME 3009 or 3012 series 2, non improved version?

I just bought a 3012 s2 without a headshell and have ordered a 10g Audio Technica headshell to use in place of the original.

However, from reading the arm's manual online, I think that in order to set up the outrigger weight for tracking force accurately, I need to know the weight, including cartridge tags and finger lift of the original headshell. Thanks in advance.

Correct. The mass for the SME S2-R headshell is higher, as it is pressed from heavier gauge aluminium and has the finger lift attached.

Thanks very much for your replies chaps. Much appreciated. Would a further gram for the finger lift be about right making 8.5 grams in total?
