Deco Audio Governor Turntable power Supply any opinions [Archive]

Hi all am looking at a cost effective power supply for my Audio Grail 401 & came across the Deco Audio Governor Turntable power Supply from Deco audio at a reasonable price and wondered if anyone had any knowledge of this.There are no reviews or much information avaialble on this at all.Any feedback & opinions would be welcome...

You're unlikely to get any user feedback given that this seems fairly new. But I've dealt with Peter at Deco a number of times and he's one of the good guys. From my experience purchasing an external speed controller from Deco, I expect this to make a noticeable difference. I was given the option of returning my purchase if not satisfied and I expect you will have this option, so you have nothing to lose really.

I'm not familiar with that particular model, however I have had Deco built Nigels controller next to LDA controller. LDA had the edge, maintained the drive of the Garrard with reduced noise floor. Cant remember the numbers, but they did output slightly different voltages which I attributed the difference to.

Variable voltage looks really useful, I found experimentation quite rewarding

Thats really usefull to know in particular a Deco Audio model versus the LDA thankyou for that & agree the variable voltage is usefull talikng to Peter at Deco Audio & he said that less voltage will result in less vibration on the motor..
