Never been before, but apparently there are some rare gems to be had amongst a very eclectic selection of music - should be fun!

Now there's a blast from the past! A fair amount of my student grant was spent in there - mostly on cassettes! A great place. You're going to love it.

Have a great time there Marco.

In my student days I spent a fortune there on vinyl (then that was all there was) by mail order (sent in a plain brown wrapper! :eyebrows:).

You ought to find some interesting items, but be warned - the owner knows his stuff and it's priced accordingly. If you have some unwanted stock (either vinyl or CD) he may buy it off you; you get a better deal part exchange.

Have fun and let us know what you have bought. And how it sounds when played with a Decca cartridge.

Regards

You'll love it Marco - I've chucked a lot of cash that way too both mail order & through 2 or three visits.

Just in.... We also decided to go to the Cob in Portmadog, which apparently has nothing now to do with the one in Bangor, and then stopped for dinner later, so all in all, it was a very nice day

Anyway, music wise, I ended up with:

Led Zeppelin - CODA.

Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays - As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls.

Pat Metheny - Bright Size Life.

Pat Methney Group with Lyle Mays, Mark Egan and Dan Gottlieb.

Jefferson Airplane - Volunteers.

Deep Purple - Deep Purple (EMI Harvest edition).

Deep Purple - The Best of Deep Purple.

Blood, Sweat & Tears - No Sweat.

John Martyn - Couldn't Love You More.

Jon and Vangelis - Short Stories.

Vangelis - Soil Festivities.

Camel - (Music Inspired by) The Snow Goose.

Cat Stevens - Teaser and the Firecat.

A reasonable wee haul

I know these & have them, yep that's what i'd call a decent increase to the collection. The two Vangelis discs i have on CD, the Camel disc is vinyl & very good it is to ;)

Enjoy :)
