Hi Tim,
I have four lengths of Van Damme cable that could be joined, I know not ideal, to give you more than 8m.
The approx lengths are 7.7m, 7.6m, 7m and 6.5m.

The cable is marked as follows Van Damme LC-OFC LOUDSPEAKER 268-505-000 2x4.00mm sq TOTAL DEFINITION DIRECTIONAL HIFI.

I use 2m runs of QED 79 strand and I'm very happy with it. For 8m runs I would double up, so 16m of cable per side.

Or you could try single runs for each side first the double up if required.
