Soon I'm going to need headphones, for testing out headphone amps. Things like hiss, buzz and hums etc.
Any recs?
Thanks.

Koss KSC75. I bought mine for 15 euro, the sound is surprisingly good even next to my "big boy" headphones (HiFiMan planars and Beyerdynamic DT880 600Ohm). With 101dB/1mW sensitivity and a slight peak in the presence region they will readily expose any flaws in the upstream equipment.

I know this sounds daft. Does the Koss also come with a large jack?

I don't think so, but adapters are like a couple of quids each.

I want the adapter to come with the headphone. Call me lazy!
