I have a Croft OTL 3 Power Amplifier which is in my main system powering a pair of Quad ESL57 speakers. I have six Mazda NOS PL509 valves that i was able to buy some time ago and I need two more so that I can do a complete power valve change over. According to Glenn Croft the OTL will give it highest power output when new valves are installed then that power will drop over over time. The OTL sounds amazing and is exactly what I thought it would be but it is just lack the power to get decent volume with a little head room . If I can get a full new set of valves then this is my best chance of getting these two to work for a period of time .
