Some more of my Stepdad's gear for sale. I've been through it all and replaced anything I could see that obviously needed doing as described below. All for collection only from just outside Bicester in Oxfordshire please. If anyone wants to make a offer for the whole system, then I'm happy to discuss that. As you can see it's mainly DIN connections. I have a few DIN leads that I can supply with the relevant components, or the whole system. Finally, if anyone has a 306 in very good cosmetic condition they would like to do a deal against, then I'd be happy to discuss that as well (I'm keeping his 34).

Quad 405 Power Amplifier - £250
This has had new PSU caps (the old ones were bulging a fair bit). I managed to find some uprated 100v ones that were about the same diameter as the originals and so was able to retain the original clamps. These are screw fit so I soldered all the cables to ring terminals which should make it very easy to change them if they ever need doing again. The parts cost for these was over £50. I also replaced R7 and R8 on the amp boards with uprated 1 watt versions as a precaution since these are sometimes reported to fail. Tested with the 44 and sounds lovely. Decent cosmetic condition with just a few marks along the top corner of the side panels.

Quad 44 Pre-Amplifer - £250
I have replaced the main switch suppressor as a precaution as it was showing cracks. Other than that, I just cleaned the controls. Tested with the 405 and sounding great. Also supplied with a spare Radio input module and input selector button cover marked 'Aux'. Pretty good cosmetically other than significant wear to the paint on the volume control.

Quad FM4 Stereo Tuner - £100
I have replaced the mains switch suppressor as it was badly cracked and also fitted a new preset battery. Tested with the 405 and 44. Works well and managed to pull a stereo signal from a small indoor TV aerial. Very good cosmetic condition other than a scratch on the top case.
