Around 12C at the moment. Alternating between sun and showers.
Bright and blustery, just been picking some of the many leaves up that end up in my front garden which seems to have foliage magnetic properties.
I have a similar problem in the back garden but I haven't addressed that yet.
can't cut and paste my last post again as we're now in a different month so will have to type it out.
Rained heavily all night and still raining now.
dry here, but blustery and cool at about 9c

It was a nippy 3C when I went out and checked earlier this morning, very bright and sunny though.
20c and sunshine :) although rain is forecast for all of tomorrow :(

It was a bit brighter earlier on - but it's not raining yet. Around 8 degrees C. Not sure what to do with the day - but I have to go out anyway.

Very sunny here in Suffolk, but cold (about 2 or 3c this morning, rose to 9c this afternoon).
been sunny here all day but feels like proper autumn now.

Real stop/start rain today. At one point it was chucking it down in customer's back garden, and dry at the front of the house where I was working.
You only need to worry if it starts to rain inside the house, but remains dry outside. (As in the Russian film "Solaris".)

Just starting to warm up here, was 35C yesterday, back down to 25C today though.

Been cold and rainy on and off all morning but the blue skies are now starting to appear.

First frost here since I don't know, March probably. One good thing, the air is so clear that the Lake District fells, 60 miles away, look like you could walk to them

The forecast here does indeed look a little moist, but not totally wet. I’ll leave you to be the judge if that’s a good thing or not, for weather...
That said, we’re supposed to be staying mostly dry and mild (double figures) for the next fortnight, but stuck under a blanket of cloud. I think I’d prefer sunny but cold, but we get what we get!
Sunny with a nice high of 22c

Depressing thick, black cloud and light drizzle.Not too cold at 12c. So dark that we had the lights on at lunchtime.

A month to the shortest day of the year, then get Xmas out of the way and we'll be slowly headed towards Summer, which will no doubt be as fleeting and unimpressive as the one we just had and then we'll be decending into Winter again! Just thought I'd cheer you all up ;).

could be also we are 500 foot elevation here so can be a lot colder just because of that.

Didn't realise you were that high up, I'd thought that Stoke was in a 'dip'. Our house is about 400ft elev. Now I can be arsed looking out the window I can see there is a dusting on Rivington, and the aptly-named Winter Hill.
Looking out at the snowy hills while playing a bit of Sade with the heating on is the best option right now.

about 160 metres here; not sure what that is in feet. there isnt much between me and either coast tho so your inclined to catch it from both directions

dry and cold (2C) right now, but we have heavy snow forecast for this afternoon.
warms up again tomorrow night though.
1c and sunny. was some snow overnight and a heavy frost before it fell so it'll be slippy.
Lovely walk with the dog, 2c and gorgeous sun. May get a dusting of snow later. The best bit about it though was that Syd "passed" the Nerf dart he found in the garden yesterday afternoon and ate before I could stop him! (Vet said he thought it would, thank god it did, shudder to think what the bill would have been had it got stuck somewhere!)

Snowing here now for the last hour, not that heavy but it's those big chunks. No breeze at all so it's coming straight down 'winter wonderland' style.
It's not sticking though, at least not yet.

Going dark now so no chance of it melting. It will freeze solid overnight so pavements will be like skating rinks tomorrow.
Usually we don't get this shit here until mid January. Might be in for a long cold winter.

Similar with Syd, stood on a frozen puddle, slipped a bit, then it cracked, barked at it then ate some ice...
Been wearing 3 layers all day inside, refuse to put the heating on when it’s only me in the house. Down to two now the stove is running. Strangely it is predicted to get warmer overnight, hitting a heady 9c by 5am, rising to 11c which is just about T-shirt weather even outside. Cold again by Thursday, but no more frosts expected for the next 2 weeks.
