Hello

New to the site and just posting a quick intro.

Petrol and Music, all the rest is a poor return on investment. Hang on I work in IT so I should be including computamabobs in the good ROI column.

I had a saturday job in Auditions Walton-on-Thames many decades ago to allow me to get my fix at a better price.

Linn LP12 with Ekos and Troika
Micromega MicroDAC and MicroDrive (as well as a TDAC and TDRIVE)
Active Linn Isobariks
Exposure Amps (3*Dual4Reg, 2*9PSU, 14Pre, Crossover)
Loads of messy cables as it is active.

I ended up with a fairly good system for the time which I have not yet really updated as I cannot find a significant improvement. From this I assume my hearing has finally crashed given the pasting I gave it when I was younger.

I do WiFi, IP, PC and geek stuff for a living and am happy to help if anyone needs to ask something. On the petrol side i have a V10 VW and a Morgan Aero 8. All complaints about ecology are directed to the key to the right of enter

I have spare Exposure bits and peices in the loft as well if anyone needs anything. I sold quite a bit of it, whilst it looked like a gurning metal cabinet it sounded somewhat better.

Look forward to speaking to you all.

Alistair

Hi Alistair, welcome to AoS :) Nice to see another person enjoying active speakers, though i know the driver arrangement on the Isobarics is a bit of an oddity whether they be active or passive ;)

I hope you enjoy your stay chap, it's quite nice here if i do say so myself being newish & all like yourself ;)

Bests to you..
