I got these to replace my aging Arcs, but my domestic management advisor doesn't care for them- prefers the way that the Arcs can be shoved out of the way, and I have these on spiked stands...
Shahinian Super Elfs, not perfect but very tidy, I have not tried to polish them- you can see there are a few surface marks but no deep scratches. Previous keeper obviously kept a pint of beer or a plant pot on top of one (?) and the photo seems to pick that up more than the eye does in real life. Again, I have not oiled or waxed the ?walnut veneer but think it would come up a treat. I'd rather give a warts and all description than cover anything up. The bases of each show spike marks, not mine as I prefer rubber feet on the stand plates. The grilles have no tears in the material but I have had to replace the locating pegs/posts on one.
They sound an absolute treat, I have not replaced the tweeters... some folk like to. I have too many bits of equipment, or so I am told, and these are a very reluctant sale. Due to size/weight I'd much prefer pick up/meet up, but would consider packing and sending if necessary.
Given that they are not immaculate I am looking for £600.
