Another from my Stepdad's collection:
Sony reel to reel tape recorder. Good cosmetic condition with just a few scratches on top and some very small marks on the head cover.
Playback seems to be working fine but I couldn't get it to record. When recording, the RH VU meter shows input, nothing on the left but when you play it back, there is nothing on either channel.
Might be down to my incompetence but I think I was doing it right, so assume there is a fault.
It comes complete with an Integrex Dolby Noise Reducer. This was built from a kit (not by me) so you might want to get it professionally inspected. I haven't tested it other than to switch it on and make sure that the smoke stays inside.
Also supplied is a big box of tape reels. As far as I can see, these all have recordings on (choral and classical mostly).
I'm asking £250 for the lot please, collection only from just outside Bicester (M40, J9).
