These were the first iteration of LS 25 as made by Mark Grant, bought by me as a 5m pair and reworked by Alan of ABC Audio in 2020 into a 2m pair and this 3m pair Alan added the latest livery when he did this work but the newest generation has an additional outer shielding that this pair does not.


A new 3m pair will set you back £630

These have low mass berylium copper Z plug on the amp end and spades on the speaker end. Not a mark on them.

Truly excellent speaker cables that are exceptionally phase coherent , only reason for sale is I have stepped up to the top of the range LS 80

Hi Martin,

I tried to PM you but it's saying your message box is too full!

I think the cables are designed by Colin Wonfor rather than Mark Grant!

I think they would both see the funny side to be fair but might be worth changing!

Inbox cleared, yes these are Colin Wonfor’s design but this iteration was originally made and sold by Mark Grant.

Alan at ABC audio is the maker of the EWA cables now and he did the conversion from the 5m pair to this pair and another 2m pair that I also have , these are Z plug both ends, I will also be offering these for sale too shortly, just waiting for my new LS 80s to arrive.

I hope that clears things up.
