I had a pair and I loved the sound but the pads were not big enough to go round my ear (they pressed on the edges) so they were basically like on ears which I don't like. Shame as they sounded so nice.

Yes mate...I love the sound of these headphones......, I put them up against a pair of Sennheiser HD800's and preferred these to the sound of the Sennheiser HD800's., which everyone raves about..In fact everything Oppo is quite special..

I'd say that's a taste thing as some love the detail of the HD800s though they can sound too analytical and let all the flaws through.

Great with hi res material on a top system if that's your taste but it's not really mine for the long run.
