Some odd events helped to pass a few minutes this afternoon. A few quite impressive sailing boats, plus a sort of cut down 7 a side rugby.

Haven't see sight nor sound of the Olympics this time around.
Archery is my favourite.
There should be medals handed out for all the political/gender/racial/(etc etc) posturing.
I know its always a part of sport but I'm getting fed up with it so haven't watched any.
No spectators?
No atmosphere

Mine too. Especially watching the Koreans, amazing focus. Our best hope used to be a lady called Alison Steadman from Long Mynd, Shropshire. I don't think she ever got to the medals though.
I used to quite handy myself, but nowhere near their standard of course. Not shot in years, but still got all the gear :)

I have to be honest and say I enjoy the Paralympics more. At the last Paralympics I was mesmerised by the Table Tennis players. Incredible sportsmen (I was watching the mens) and incredible sportsmanship too.

The BMX finals are amazing. Both men and women.

There were some great moments. I was still waiting (thankfully without result) for the weight lifters to drop the weights on to their feet!
The guy from Georgia was just incredible.
I did watch this (several times) - absolutely stunning
