Hi John yes I received them last night (amazon) though the same. Of the 8, 4 have thread damage. My experience there was the reason for the post. Not impressed which is a shame as purchased alot from that seller in the past.

These spikes are marketed for photographic tripods. They're good quality, and stainless steel. You would need to source some 1/4 inch nuts for levelling, and to lock them in position. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07BH1W1G9
