A lovely set of Heybrook HB1 Series 3 in very nice condition. I bought these at the end of lockdown 1 from PinkFish needing a re-foam. This I did (one of my better efforts) and then used them as my main speakers for a year or so until we have recently (finally) redecorated the living room (which will please whoever was taking the mick about the peeling wallpaper some years back).
They are complete with their original stands, manual and spikes for the stands (not fitted).
The speakers themselves are in excellent condition with hardly a mark on them, fully operational and sounding lovely. HB1s are extremely revealing but I never found them harsh or fatiguing. Tight and musical. They are designed to be used close up against a wall so ideal for rooms where placement is tricky. I've read reviews saying that people are amazed that Heybrook made any money on them given the quality of the drivers and crossover components.
The stands are not as good. They are presentable but have a number of marks here and there. On one of them, the crackle finish coating was peeling on the top plate so I just removed the loose stuff and put some hammerite on to stop it rusting. You can remove the top plate to re-coat properly if required but no-one will see it when the speaker is on there.
Collection only please from just outside Bicester (M40, J9). Demo welcome.
£100 please
