Beautifully preserved example of this excellent tonearm: a 12" Unipivot suitable for a wide range of decks and cartridges. £625 + £12.50 postage or collected from SE London.
Unipivot design with carbon arm-tube, medium mass of around 14.5g, making it extremely versatile. It works well with any cartridge I've tried. It's very nice to use, with a lovely tactile feel and nice cueing mechanism. It just feels right in the fingers (very important in a tonearm). The sound is an excellent balance between tone and dynamics: it has enough of the typical unipivot emphasis on lovely mid-range tonality without pushing it too far. And being 12" it tracks very well, bringing an extra sense of poise. I've thoroughly enjoyed using this.
It has Michell cartridge tags as an upgrade, professionally fitted by Deco Audio at some cost. These are an essential upgrade to these arms, in my opinion, as the original tags are quite flimsy and easy to break. The Michell are far better.
