(OK, I've removed the little protective plastic bit, so it's not THAT!)
Trying to pull the optical cable out of my dac is very hard-I feel that I'm going to damage the connection if I pull too hard.
Is there a trick to extracting the plug? -like twisting it....?
Maybe it's just the socket?
Could clamber behind the TV to see the other end......
Any input welcome.

sometimes there's a little tag on top that you have to press down as you pull.

as above... also there will be a ridge on the plug usually. sometimes they are tight and a sidways slight push/twist is needed for it to come out. Mostly tho the com out easily. But do check at back that there isnt a locking tab on the dac etc first.

Thanks-I checked the CDplayer end; it came out easily.
The plug body negates any tag being accessible.
Leave it be, maybe!
Was just going to try another iPod cradle......use the phono-digital!
Careful WD40,maybe......

if you look on end you get out you should see where the locking ridge is.. top or bottom. if its top then try lifting the bottom of plug to remove. it should fall out
