Hi guys, I've a pair of SB LS3/5a V2 serial numbers 88130 A & 883130 B (black label) in cherry, I think.
The price is £700 for the speakers and the stands collected from Glasgow or meet up somewhere convenient or I can post the speakers and stands at cost which will likely be around £30 with insurance for two packages.
Payment by cash on collection or by bank transfer preferred.
The speakers are in very good condition with some very light scratches here and there.
The scratches are mainly on the bottom of each speaker but they're hardly noticeable and would probably polish out anyway but I'm just mentioning this for completeness.
I'd rate them at VG+ or maybe near mint however if you want a minty mint/brand new pair then these are probably not for you.
The speakers come with the original box and packaging but no manual and there's a pair of 625mm or 25" high back open frame stands with spikes.
The stands look brand new to me but no box for those but they can be disassembled for posting.
I would prefer pick up from Glasgow or surrounding area but I am able to post the speakers and the stands.
I'm also happy to separate the speakers and stands if the buyer doesn't want the stands also happy to demo the speakers to serious buyers, subject to covid restrictions etc.
I paid £700 for both the speakers and stands a couple of weeks ago and picked them up locally, they were originally for sale on The Wam (below). I'm a member there but haven't been able to log in for about a year now, the mods never respond to my requests for password reset which I've forgotten otherwise I'd put them back up for sale on there.

These are probably the best speakers I've ever heard or owned, they're absolutely fantastic and I would keep them but I have a pair of white Elac BS 312 speakers which suit the room decor better but the Elacs don't sound as good with my current amp which is a Yamaha R-N803D.
I bought a Yamaha P2350 PA to hear the Elacs properly and they sound stunning with that amp as does the LS3/5as but they also sound very good with my existing Yamaha amp so it's a bit of a bummer selling the Stirlings but I can't afford to keep both sets of speakers and then totally revamp my set up so I've decided to keep my existing Yamaha for convenience and also hang onto the PA amp and occasionally hook that up to the Elacs to listen to them properly.

BTW, those links are apparently expensive speakers wire not just bog standard T&E domestic cable according to the guy I bought the speakers from.
