Hi, been a member for a while but forgot to say hello - apologies
I have been interested in music (and therefore hifi) since age of 13 (now mid-50's
Interested in music of all types and I listen mostly to Radio 3 for about 12 hours per day - I work from home.
I have been asked to list the gear I have.
Various bits of gear accumulated over the years (not all in use at any one time):
Verdier T/T, Townshend Rock Reference,
Burmeister, Eastern Electric Minimax,Advantage and Counterpoint Transports
Sequerra Model 1, Magnum Dynalab Etude, Troughline Stereo x 2, Revox B760 FM tuners
Boulder Pre/Dac,Tap-X pre, Counterpoint DAC,
Boulder power amp, Croft Twinstar 4 power (modded to 5),Viva 845 Int., Leben 600 Int, Advantage Int.
Acapella Violon 1 hybrid horns, Loth-X Polaris, vintage Tannoy 12 red monitors in vintage style Canterbury cabinets, Proac Response 3, Inner Sound Kachina electrostatics, Klipsch La Scalas in birchply, Harbeth SLH5, celestion 44's, and nice pair of Japanese Coral speakers off the bay
Some vertex power distribution blocks and power cables, Audience power cables and speaker cables, Acoustic zen power/speaker/interconnect cables, artisan silver interconnects, audio tekne speaker cables, virtual dynamics speaker cable, wireworld interconnects (so far unused), some old DNM and vdh unterconnects, some DNM reson/ Linn and naim 75 strand speaker cable and several other cables lying about
various other bits of gear lying about unused eg Mission Cyrus 2 and PSX
I look forward to participating in this forum. I am more interested in the music (although we all love the gear as well don't we!) and am not very tekky nor any good with a soldering iron but am picking some of it up as I go along!
