Here are a few exceptional vintages tubes for sale that might be of interest...
The majority are very rare and sought after, some truly in the hen's teeth category. Although they are by no means cheap I have kept prices for tubes of the same type and quality below those on eBay and online tube sellers. All are carefully tested on a calibrated AVO 160CT and meet the new test parameters unless stated. A few people have expressed an interest in buying single tubes instead of pairs etc so I've listed them first. As you will see, in some cases the delicate writing has worn- common for tubes that are 70 years old or less ;-)
I x TELEFUNKEN smooth plate <> ECC83 BOXED £75
The chalk writing has disintegrated but the all important <> is engraved on the bottom. Sides are extremely closely matched.

1 x TUNGSRAM ECC83 Foil getter, single support R5 date code 1959
My favourite ECC83 bar none. The foil getters come in single and double support versions and sonically I cannot tell them apart. Extremely rare SOLD

1 x TUNGSRAM ECC83 Foil getter, single support SILVER PLATES, N6 1960 date code; red stamp special selection issue £165
OK, so structurally this is the same as the previous Tungsram tube BUT with silver plates and special selection designation red stamp. Sonically I can hear no difference. No need to emphasise the ultra rare factor.

Not really sure why I'm listing this as it's one of the earliest ECC83 versions manufactured by this brand and IMO the best sounding of its type. Singles ave been selling for £450 plus and one is currently on eBay for £700!! Deep pockets required
