If you wanted somewhere cheap to start get a used Cisco 2960 or even 2 and cascade. About 40 quid each solid build. Even just getting one , can still be beneficial if something better comes along later, jumping from the cisco to the audiophile one.

Well I run an audiophile switch and it sounds better going through the cisco then the audiophile one. Lots of guys cascade 2 fancy switches and say they get better results. Two the same or two different.

If you just wanted to try an audiophile one most of them can be bought on 30 day trials no quibble returns
