Last episode tonight...who's the last one?

Dunno, it could be anyone, though I'm betting it won't be the bloke from Steps. We normally record stuff and watch sometime later, but we'll have to watch this one live so someone doesn't spoil it for us :)
Got to be the best British drama in years.

Not a clue, never seen it. It's on broadcast TV so never likely too.
Is 'H' the one from Steps?

I agree with you Alan, it's one of the best dramas ever. Each series has just got better and better.
Lol - another Line of Duty fan here! So looking forward to tonight's finale...:)
However, for me, the best series was that featuring 'The Caddy' (and 'Lindsay Denton'), which in terms of quality, IMO no other has since got near.

and the finale was weak....poor to say the least..It was only Buckles the clown.....I was expecting it be someone real high up in the force..like the Chief Constable and a massive shoot out, with all the OCG trying to protect him....I'll be looking at Vigil next, from the writers of Line Of Duty..
Yeah, it was a MASSIVE non-event!! I was expecting something similar like you. Weak is precisely the word, certainly in comparison with the finale of 'The Caddy'
However, you wonder if Buckles is taking the rap for the *real* 'H', which they're saving for a final series, or whatever. I still have my suspicions about the 'mannequin-faced' Detective Chief Superintendent Patricia Carmichael... She's defo a wrong 'un, so watch this space;)

However Jo Davidson did get off with a stunning red-head, or doesn't that count as closure.
PS I would.
Indeed-o... You can't beat a bit of bi/lesbo action, if the chicks concerned are decent looking:eyebrows:;)
Open them baby, not close...

I thought the finale was a let down and rushed. After all the series, we have an idiot in charge of multiple OCG.
I'm hoping for another series as I'm sure Carmichael is dodgy and hasn't done a lot in it so far. Also, who faked the signature to get Davidson out of the nick ?

I don't think he was in charge Dave, just leaking the juicy info.
I'm with you with Carmichael, wouldn't trust her as far as I could kick her.

It could be the F.I who's in league with the. D.I that the C.I.O had an affair with.
Gotta love those initialisms.
I was left feeling a little let down with the last episode. I felt like the writers just didn't know what to do, that is, to close the chapter or to leave it open. It was good but a bit of wet fart of a finale.

I must admit to feeling let down by the last episode. Is it meant to show that some people will get away with crimes because of their position in society? No intended reference to any persons, living or dead ;)
proud to say ive never seen a single minute lol
Don't know what you're missing mate - it's been a great drama series:)
We enjoy the vast majority of BBC dramas, which is one of the reasons, among many others, why we couldn't live without 'broadcast TV'.
Marco.
I thought it was shite

All of it [emoji35] ! in a compromise as my wonderful mrs never complains when I need my music time , she draws the line at documentaries though.
I think the casting of the too young to be experienced coppers let it down

We've gone back to the beginning and downloaded series 1. Surprised me to find we never saw that one.
Andrew, of course the coppers seem young, that's a sign that you're getting older :)

The first three series are where it's at, after which it goes progressively downhill, with a brief highpoint in Series 5, with the appearance of the Scouse chap (I forget his name), who's a really good actor and played his part well:)
