I have a pair of these stands, as new and with box.

They are 16 inches high and I've never used them. They come with screw in spikes for the base.

Hello,

I am looking for those stands from Target, for my B&W speakers.

What is the price for these stands and how do we get them in Holland.

My name is Peter van den Wijngaard and I am living in the Netherlands.

Kind regards.

Peter,
You seem to have missed the part in the email you received when you joined (purely in order to buy these stands? - something we frown on a little, I'm afraid).
If you read the content properly you will have seen a request that you carry out a simple procedure as your first order of business on AoS.
As you missed this, may I direct you to this thread (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=17333) and suggest that you follow the request contained therein?

Peter, shipping will probably cost as much as the stands themselves.

Whereabouts in the Netherlands are you?

Hi Lee,

I am living near the coast between Amsterdam and The Haige, our village is called Koudekerk a/d Rijn.

What would the price be for those stands. I can figure it out what the cost of sending will be. May be there is an other solution, I have family living near Brighton.

Kind regards,
peter.

Indeed Peter, you still have your part of the bargain that you made when you joined the forum to fulfil. Not doing so is not an option, I'm afraid.
You are sure of a friendly welcome from the members if you simply say hello in the appropriate place, as we require of all newcomers.

Hello,

Hopefully I filled in all the requirements now.
I am still very interested in the stands and 40 pounds will be ok, bud I am still looking for the best way to get them to Holland.
Do the stands fit in one box and what will be the dimensions and the weight of this package and do you also know what will be the price to send them over.
I am also trying to ask my family and friends if they visit England in the near future, so they can bring them over themselves.

Kind regards Peter.

Hi Peter, I beleive they are still in their original box, in storage at the moment. I will get to them soon and measure up the box and weight.

I can then get a postage price for you.

Peter,

The box is 44x36x28cm and when packed will be over 6kg and under 10kg.

3-5 day delivery will cost around £25 plus packing.

Hi Lee,

Hi Lee,
As I understand you correctly, the dimensions of the box with 2 stands is 44x36x28cm ( is this correct, the stands are about 40 cm high and the base is almost square? )
When packed the total weight will be over 6kg and under 10kg.
The cost of the stands are 40 pounds and the total cost will be 65 pounds, 25 pounds for sending.
May be the sending costs can be lower by taking more time, longer than 5 days delivery time? I am not in that hurry.
Thanks in advance, Peter.

Peter,

I have them with me now.

The top plate is 19cm square. The base is 26cm deep x 28cm wide and they are 41cm to the base (without spiked feet, which are included). The top plate has 4 pads but no spikes or holes for spikes.

You are correct, the box is 44cm x 36cm x 28cm (HDW). The stands kind of fit within each other.

I think for the weight it is a reasonable price, but I have to admit I have only used parcel2go for my quotes. There is no 5 day + delivery/price.

I cannot offer an exact cost until I have fully packed them up. They're in their original box and there's little room to add bubble wrap or any other protection, but of course they are very strong and sturdy stands so I think safely taping up the boxes should suffice.

Hope that helps.

Hi Lee,
Sorry for all the trouble, but I think the stands are too small for my boxes.
My B&W, DM 2A, are about 35cm square and 65 cm high so the target stands will be out of proportion. Of course I can only see this when I try it but therefor it is a too expensive deal.
Kind regards, Peter.

Peter,

The fact that you were looking for these particular stands, I assumed you already knew the dimensions.

Your speakers will overhang the top plate by only 8cm on each side. The proportions of the speaker to the stand are not as relevant as the height of the tweeter compared to your listening position.

Hi Lee,
I did not know what the exact dimensions were, is just saw the photos of the stands and thought that the stand was bigger. I am not affright that the stands will not carry the boxes, bud looking at theme it is out of proportion. So I have to look for bigger stands, once again sorry for the trouble I caused.
K.R. Peter.
