The 4.4's have caught my eye...

YouTube videos show them sounding great (AMT tweeter, mid cone unit, ATC style) and they get a great write up.

Wondering if any Peeps here heard them at the last Bristol show or wherever, and what they thought

Thanks :)

I have a pair Gary.

Typical Peter Comeau design I’d say, easy on the ear, don’t try to grab you but satisfying for long term listening.

Drive units are well integrated, dome mid gives a bit of the Tannoy midrange magic, bass goes reasonably deep (34hz in my room) and treble is conspicuous by its absence, no spitting just very natural.

They’re well finished but veneer quality is a bit thin looking compared to expensive brands. Very solid spikes/ outriggers.

Great speaker for the money IMO.

Overall verdict is they focus on the music rather than the hifi.
