I'm trying to extract the audio from one of my DVD's on my mac but I'm having trouble. All I can get from it is a PCM file. I can't seem to do anything with this. I'd like to convert it to ALAC or FLAC.

Any ideas?

I use Format Factory for all sorts of conversions - it's free, and works well.

http://www.formatoz.com/ (Doesn't do ALAC but does FLAC & AAC etc.) Also great for ipod/iphone conversions.

I used a combination of Handbrake and Extract Movie Soundtrack, both free.
