With some reluctance I've decided to let my Sony ST-SB920 FM/AM tuner go. The ST-SB920 is widely known as an excellent performer with lots of useful features including FM bandwidth wide or narrow choice (to differentiate two close stations), aerial choice, mono/stereo, attenuation etc and best of all, all of these choices can be allocated and stored to an individual station/setting so that the next time you choose to listen to that station, your chosen settings are already there, you don't have to set it all up again. As well as excellent sound quality, a lot of DXers use the SB920 due to its versatility in being able to dig out weak and distant stations from surrounding ones. There's a flap on the front panel that folds down to expose a number of extra controls and features. You can also choose how much or what is shown in the display. I gave it a basic wipe over before taking the photos but you can see there's still some dust in the corners, otherwise it is pretty much perfect, no scratches or marks it has always lived on my hifi shelf. Supplied with original user manual, but NO mains plug. £80 + £20 Hermes tracked delivery.
