FS: Unison Research - Simply Italy

For sale, is my Unison Research, Simply Italy, Integrated Tube Amplifier.

This was purchased by me new, in November 2019, so is less than 18 months old. This was my first tube amp, I'm hooked on the way they sound and have moved to separate Pre/Power amps, hence the sale.

This 12w/Channel beauty was the favourite of the founder of Unison Research and was what he used in his retirement at home. There are plenty of positive reviews available for this model.

The Amp is fully working and in unmarked as new condition.
The protective cage, remote control and original power cord are all included in the sale and have never been used.

The first stage 12AU7w Tung Sol tubes I'm supplying, are the items that came with the Amp, I used NOS replacements (not included), so these Tung Sol's are barely run in. Likewise, the Electro Harmonix EL34 power tubes I'm supplying, are a matched pair, purchased only two months ago. There should be plenty of life left in all of these tubes. The tubes and remote will be packed in their original boxes, the long allen key used to remove the cage and the instruction book are also supplied.

The amp will be shipped in the original double box carton and inserts.
Its a nice bit of kit for a very reasonable price, it will be like unpacking a brand new amp.

Beautiful amplifier; less is more with these Unison Research designs. Just a point of information; it was Giovanni Sachetti that founded UR. I believe Giovanni Nasta founded Opera Speakers and took over UR at some point, but Sachetti was the founder and chief designer.

Your probably right about the name, I read an article, where the owner of UR had retired and was being interviewed at home, the accompanying picture of him, had a Simply Italy in the background and he said in the interview, it was all he needed for late night sessions, listening to jazz. It's based on the first amplifier the company made, so would have sentimental value for him as well.
They are very well crafted, the stainless steel pieces aren't just for appearance, they are practical and help reflect heat away from the transformers.
I loved using it, just feels quality.
If they had similar Pre/Power amps in their range I would have bought those as replacements.
