This surprisingly good Chinese made amplifier has been providing sterling service in my second system for a few years, but it's time to try something different.
It has a very nice valve like sound, no sign of solid state grain, a nice rounded bass and perhaps a sightly rolled off top end, and can get up to 80wpc into 8 ohms. It also has a relay based stepped resistor pre amp and an XLR balanced input as well as 4 RCA single ended inputs.
If you want a relaxed long term listen with no fatigue this really does the job. If you ignored the price tag and label you'd be none the wiser.
It's actually a rebadged Jungson JA88-E I believe (I'll check that later) but has the fancy wooden remote of their higher models. There are plenty of positive reviews of that model online, but not of the rebadged Inca Design model. (I think UK customers were somewhat put off by the apparent attempt to use the goodwill of the name of Inca Tech but I don't think that was the intention.).
There was also a fancy looking matching CD player called the Katana was rather popular at the time.
The only mark I can see on it is a slight rubbing to the metal surface on the volume knob. I will get some pics of the back up shortly.
I'm looking for £175 with socially distanced collection from near Durham in the next few days. I could get it to London for a similar collection next week. As I have the original double box I could also arrange delivery at buyer's cost and risk.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210215/0222456aab730cee98388da7f90848f1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210215/90e59a3dc825288a88deba912286382b.jpg
