I'm looking for a good quality 5m long interconnect to run between a BT broadband hub and a smart TV. I don't want to spend a fortune in the first instance and have something like this in mind:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/UGREEN-Ethernet-Gigabit-Network-Design/dp/B00QV1F19W/ref=sr_1_15?adgrpid=68107563316&dchild=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI442fzI647gIVlvlRCh3VhAe0EAAYAiAA EgKKWfD_BwE&hvadid=338674823413&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=1006886&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=8372567832059643122&hvtargid=kwd-504635007072&hydadcr=18856_1722154&keywords=cat+5e+data+cable&qid=1611613669&sr=8-15&tag=googhydr-21

Any good?

Thanks
Barry

I use JuiceBitz for all my cables now, good quality and good prices. https://www.juicebitz.co.uk/cat7-flat-ultra-thin-shielded-rj45-lan-sftp-patch-cable-lszh-black

Would have been great in the last one, as these are flat and could have been pulled under the carpet.

think cat7 is grounded both ends.

think cat7 is grounded both ends.

Does that make a difference? I'm afraid I know very little about digital and computer cabling.

not sure. i was concerned re introducing noise, so i avoided it.
