Selling up my vinyl system and going back to PC based system.

System for sale as follows.

Project Perspex SP6 SB with Ortofon Quintet Bronze cartridge. Cat has about 150 hours on it and is in great condition. Have the box and accessories to include. £400 delivered.

Big Bottle Audio Phono Stage. Purchased on here from MikeyB and built by Oliver of Big Bottle Audio. Sounds great. Includes valves. £325 delivered.

Yaqin MS-30L £350 delivered. Will include a variac transformer for correct 220v for £75 if required. It helps with sound and keeps bias very tight when set at 220v rather than using mains at 230/240V.

Cambridge Audio Aeromax 6's in gloss white. A bit of a revalation to me for non silly money. £300 but need picking up from IP31 2LB as no boxes and not happy to rely on post as big and quite heavy.

Would sell as a system for £1000 and can include Mark Grant cables if wanted. Pick up preferred for obvious reasons but can post on an individual basis.

I'm going to see if my local vinyl shop is interested in them as a job lot. Wont be going back to vinyl. My ilness is making it all a bit too much of a faff and I have a massive digital library on my PC that sounds OK.

purely from fond memories taping TOP 40 from Radio One of a Sunday Night...

Going back a bit further,
telling Mum n Dad to SHUT UP cos I was taping stuff from the telly of a Saturday morning with my tape recorder.
Those memories shape what you do and how you are now.

The songs I taped back in the day I still enjoy.

I've had an asking price offer with pick up from Monty on here which is by far my preferred option in terms of postage costs and safety.

Subject to payment the system is sold to Monty.

Anyone showing interest in the individual items, thank you but please understand my thinking on this.

No payments have been made for any part of the system to date.

yeah keep well john, and hope your treatment helps.. digital file system is great. i do 99% of my listening on wireless headphones tbh now straight off a dongle on pc. works just fine.
