Hana all the way. A far better balanced cartridge and better value.

I may have to try an ML - if a lightly used one comes up for sale :)

Which Hana are you looking for ? I might be able to help.
Just after the ML was brought out, Guy Sergeant sent me a loaner to try. It might be worth contacting him to see if it is still on the go.

I run a Hana ML which replaced a Ortofon Cadenza Black. I much prefer the smoother sound and more pronounced bass of the ML. Just my opinion.

Also a more full bodied, natural mid band and greater presence.
Hana are great value cartridges.

Was thinking of getting the Ortofon Quintet Bronze, read a review said it was an easy going smooth cart, now thinking Hana EL.

That and the HL have been very popular with my customers.

An ML would be my choice- I have been tempted by a Cadenza Bronze at a dealers (200 hrs ish) I liked the Black I had and now have a slightly higher one in the range which I would like to preserve as long as possible :)
