You know how much you all love me :)
well who fancies helping me out?
www.realphotographersforum.com is getting there... slowly... i was never expecting it to take off over night but id like to give it a little boost in the right direction.
im trying to fill the forum out a little bit, i still have a lot off "rooms" without much in... i dont want to flood them with only stuff i have writen... so if you have a remote interest in photography, pop along and help kick start the place... i dont have much to offer... but in the words of a 5 year old "il be your bezzy mate" ;)... il even buy you all a pint if we ever meet :)

Hi Hamish,
I'm a keen user of both film (up to 5X4) and digital (from RF & DSLR to
PhaseOne P45). I'll register later this evening. I'd already had a
quick look and thought it looked interesting. The next couple of weeks
are particularly hectic but if I can help with some articles etc I will.
Here are some links you might find of interest to what I've been up to over the last few months:
http://www.babelsberg-studio.com/5x4/ (P45 mounted on a Cambo Legend)
http://www.babelsberg-studio.com/ina4/ (ditto)
http://www.babelsberg-studio.com/ina5/ (ditto with Cooke soft focus lens at f4.5)
Am working on similar projects on 5X4 film (especially coffee stained Cyanotypes as per Jenkins).

I shall have to have a look tomorrow, I'm only on my iPhone now and steve jobs doesn't like flash... My office is a no go after 6pm at pain of a kicking from Hannah!
That would be great though, join up and we can have a chat about articles!
I know little, if anything about large format, a little about medium format film, nothing of medium format digital... So I'm sure you can bring a lot to the forum!

the "coffee cyanotypes are really nice arnt they, really subtle and soft, seemingly very suitable for the subject...
in fact its quite interesting the different impresion you get of the subject between the 2 different sets...
there is something about square format that looks so right when its done right but so wrong when its not... well done for being in the first category.... it really really make me want to get my studio finished.... ah well, it should be pretty much functional by the end of the week....
i shall look forward to your contributions on the forum!
I am not the best with a camera but would something like this get me in?
These are of the Cathedral of blessed sacrament in downtown Sacramento.
There some of my favorite pictures, the camera did it not me just point N shoot.
Any of these ?
All taken on my cheap point and shoot Kodak 3.1 CX6330 no skills required camera. Get one used for just $34.50!http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-EasyShare-CX6330-Digital-Optical/dp/B00009WN9P I've had it since 02 or 03 and it still works great as menny times as it's been dropped and gotten very wet.
I went to the forum and looked a little deeper,These guys are serious photographers.
I would only be good for a laugh. But wait, thats me here too......
or at least i hope no one would take me to seriously.

Join up Jeff... it's all about enjoying the pictures and chatting about them. Your pics will be inspiration to people on there, just as much as theirs are to you. And we can all improve our photography by looking at other people's stuff and chatting about it.
