Hi Guys, a couple of days ago a paid these muppets to deliver a package to Germany, anyway I paid for the courier to supply all the labels, parcelforce came to collect but wouldn't take the package without a customs label, obviously i didn't have one and told the guy that i'd paid for all labels to be supplied anyway he didn't take it and told me to contact the company i'd booked it with.

Trying to get in touch with these clowns is a joke, they don't have a phone number, which should have alerted me and the only way to get in touch is via email, as yet i've not had a response from them that answers my question, they send responses but for random things unrelated, anyway i'd give them a wide berth and use a company that knows what they are doing and cares for their customers if i were you.

Sounds like they haven't updated their forms and/or procedures for Brexit related changes, unforgivable as that should have been top priority for them to sort out before they went live even if they only had a few days' notice.

If they didn't have time to sort they should have stopped all EU bookings until they could, but of course then they'd lose revenue (which I'm sure they're capable of coping with unlike many industries that have suffered in the lockdown, so even that's not an excuse unlike, say, travel companies nearly going bust).

All those parcel middlemen are crap, they will take your money with gusto but won't accept any responsibility if something goes wrong.

Indeed, and if the difference is only a couple of quid, is it worth risking a lost parcel and the value of it for that?

Parcel compare., are like parcel2go...you put in your details and a list of couriers comes up with their prices...and you choose the courier that suits you....in this case parcelforce is the chosen courier, however, parcelcompare should have given him the correct paperwork to print off, but they haven't supplied him with customs label...bad crack...

Well you live and learn, they said they would refund me, lets see if that happens and in the mean time i popped into my local post office and got it sorted out with no fuss for 2/3 of the price, 3 days later it arrived all sorted

People knock the PO, but their parcel service is very good. Inland I always send RMSD.
