Been snowing here A LOT this morning. Van slid down the hill a bit this morning, so just got first two jobs done then gave myself an early dart. Got home just in time, van barely made it up the hill, then went sideways into the heathers bordering our drive. That's me not going anywhere till Monday at least :) Time for some tunes

Don’t wish to upset Marco and Del but this was our garden all the way down in Hampshire this morning... ;)

Yesterday's snow had all melted by the evening, except for a bit on the roofs.
According to the Met Office it should be snowing heavily here right now. No sign of it though. Sometimes they get the timing wrong so might still happen later.
Supposed to warm up a lot again by Wednesday.

11° here mid week apparently. Supposed to have snow today but not a flake so far.
Only one more week of Jan to go thankfully. As usual it seems to have gone on forever. Christmas seems like a distant memory and it was only four weeks ago.
Snow has finally started. Need to go out as got no cash and no baccy. Suppose I best do that now before it gets serious.

I haven't felt that at all... Just the same as any other month really, as I enjoy every month or season for what it brings, and don't like wishing my life away:)

Del nearly fell over the cats this morning running outside to watch all the snowflakes falling, and it's defo snowball fighting weather, which we'll be doing later (as she loves that), especially if I let her win!:D
And if it continues to fall like this, and the temps stay around zero, then we'll be snowed in, as I ain't taking the Brabster out in this!:nono:

Lol - nice but ours is MUCH better than that now, getting really heavy and quite deep. Will take some pics later!:cool:

It's been snowing heavily for two hours now and is settling. When the temp drops overnight, it will be carnage out there as the County Council have stopped gritting the roads. This is why we have an AWD vehicle.
still snowing here too. Not heavily but it's steady. It looks bleak out there.

I’m not sure you’d even have the option! Ursula’s old C220 was absolutely hopeless in the snow - the damn thing would just sit there spinning its wheels with the merest dusting of the white stuff. Definitely the worst ‘snow car’ either of us have ever encountered!
Our snow has pretty much gone now and turned to slush. Could be interesting in the morning if it freezes tonight...

More bleeding snow overnight :( Not sure whether to leave early to beat the traffic, or give it an hour, let everyone else mash up the snow. My new van is RWD, and automatic. Not sure if this is a good thing, probably isn't.

Same here. Just lovely waking up to a white winter wonderland, and bright sunshine/blue skies. With a bit of creative imagination, we could be in our usual winter holidays in Austria!:carrot:

lucky you we've got a coating of the crap everywhere, frozen solid. The pavements and side roads are like ice rinks. Hopefully the sun will melt it all away before it freezes up again after dark.

The doors on my car were frozen shut this morning, but a few litres of warm water later and I was away.
Roads are clear. Nothing major this way at all.

1C, still frosty and gloomy with snow on the deck. I expect it will thaw later, could be the last proper winter weather we'll see this year (or not :)).

Not too bad today. Light cloud, so it's not as dark and gloomy as usual and around 10c. Managed a couple of hours in the garden..:carrot:
Cool; I have also been in the garden for the last couple of days, general clearing and planning for the year ahead :)

12C, damp and dismal. Spring is a little way off yet.
It's mostly been pissing down, but today it's dry and bright, and 10C, which is the warmest is been in a while! Tomorrow's set to be shitty, though. Lots and rain and sleet - hey ho, another day in front of the fire, listening to tunes and watching movies!:cool:

Sort of sleet earlier, been raining since about 09.00 - looks like rain set for rest of day which is a bugger as I am part way through making an obelisk from branches in the garden.

We did actually go for a little walk this morning but very pleased to get back in the car.
got more snow forcast for next 3 days. at least its still lockdown so it doesnt affect me as much. will maybe need to give cr a run before it arrives tho.
