Hi all.

I found these at the weekend. I bought them from NOSTubestore back in 2015.

These were put in to storage as I bought 2 sets.

These are from the early to mid 1950s. Both have test results on them. They have a dark brown base with green text.

These are well known to be one of the top 5 in regards to sound. Amazing clarity and a wide sound stage.

Tested in my croft and they sound stunning.

Hard to come by now.

Asking £100 inc post (UK) for the pair.

Agreed on that; I had a parcel posted to me on the 5th and it only arrived this morning. Could have walked to Sheffield and back in that time, and had days to spare. Makes one wonder what they do with mail these days.

Yes a smashed up pair of speakers in a crushed box within 3-5 days :lol: I'd rather wait longer and have them in good condition.

How do they compare with the red 5691s?

Hi Rob,

Just as sparkly, dynamic and detailed, but a touch lighter in the bass, but not so much that you'd notice with most material. They also add a nice 'creamy' quality to vocals, but importantly, similar to 5691s, they're proper military spec and designed to last, so very reliable. I use some in my Croft:)
