I bought this QC24 used from Hi Fi Hangar during the Summer of this year. They fitted a new valve just prior to purchase as photographed. This pre is in beautiful condition, with two very minor marks, also as shown. Please be assured that anything else that looks like imperfections in the photographs are reflections.
The phono board is new, being fitted by Quad on the 7th December. I’ve used it for a handful of hours. This cost £190 inc. vat and carriage, and included a discount £67 (inc. vat) all as shown on the receipt which is of course included. It’s set for MM cartridge use though included are the four jumpers for use with a MC cartridge.
I adore this amp and it would be reasonable for any prospective buyer to ask why I’m selling it so soon after having the board fitted. Truth is, a couple of days after taking delivery I spotted an opened box QC24 and 24P pair (a combination I’ve hankered after for a long time) at a dealers at a price I couldn’t resist, so here we are.
It’s boxed with all internal packaging (apart from the plastic bag, substitute provided !) though has no manual.
I wasn't going to include a power lead for fear of damaging the amp, though if you need one I can post one seperately.
Asking £660 delivered (next day - any insurance at the cost of the buyer) which I believe to be a fine price. These retail at £1000 new without the phono board.
