This year, the first year in this house, we’ve gone for a white tree, with pearlescent tinsel, and gold baubles. Lighting is pure white, warm white and blue.
All elements of the decorations were chosen by my four year old daughter today in B&Q and B&M. She has a good eye.

In the office a cleaner, more colourful affair.

Office one is quite religious on shape
Nice one, mate. Del would call that 'all princess spangly':eyebrows:
Here's ours, which is a rather different colour palate:

Plus, the garland for along the fire:

At the moment, the only light in the room is from the log fire, tree, garland and some candles. Nice and cosy and Christmassy!:christmas::santa:
Marco.

Ha - thanks, just like that nice banner you made for here! Might revert to that on Christmas day. You could even switch it on, just like the Queen!:booty::eyebrows:

indeed i have but not on ;)
Lol... I'll see if I can convince her to wear it on Christmas day and pop a pic up:D
Depends whether or not she'll be wearing an Alice band and pompoms in her hair, or a Santa hat [which she often does at Xmas], and what mood she's in:eek::eyebrows:
She likes dressing up on Christmas day.
Marco.
Went fake a couple of years ago.
Real next year again I reckon.

Very clean and crisp!
I haven’t had a real tree in years, about 40 years I think. It’s the vacuuming up of the needles that puts me off.

Only on benefits day.
Here's my little Christmas Tree. Old reliable Christmas Cactus. TBH, I neglected it this year.
Left it dry in a dark corner for months. So not quite the usual show.
It's come out early this year.

Nice - I used to have one. It grew and grew, until one day I came home to find it on the floor, broken. It had grown in a lopsided fashion (because of the light) and overbalanced.

Admire the precision measurement of the curtains: a couple of mm clearance at the top and about a mm to clear the floor.
Admire the precision measurement of the curtains: a couple of mm clearance at the top and about a mm to clear the floor.Thanks. Whoever did them was amazing. No curtain rails either, just a slider built into the ceiling. They are like that throughout the house, which I moved into about 9 months ago. Better fabric quality in the other rooms, though, TBH.
The high ceilings add to the effect.
