FS: Audioquest Nighthawk Carbon headphones

Superb sounding, discontinued and sought after headphones these. They are quite dark, rich and "syrupy" sounding which divides opinion, but suit me down to the ground. Many owners say they get the closest of any headphones to the sound they get from their speakers. Plenty of reviews online anyway.

Condition is excellent, they come in their padded travel case with papers, spare leatherette pads to tune the sound and a detachable cable.

I'm asking £240 for these, PPG or cash on (socially distanced) collection from N London. Insured postage at cost tbc.

Remember, they don't make 'em anymore, these are getting more and more collectible by headphone fans.

Do these leak sound as much as HD600?
I’m using closed back so not to disturb the other half, she sits 12 foot away.
I understand theses are more semi open?

Just to say I have a pair of these, and much preferred them to HD600’s. They are supremely comfortable, beautifully constructed and for me the best-sounding headphones I’ve had by some way. I cannot say if they leak more sound than HD600’s but I think the mesh open area is somewhat less in size and therefore it might mean they are quieter - certainly SWMBO has never complained!

I understand theses are more semi open?I compared them to my 650s yes they do leak less but can still be heard. At a guess I'd call it half the volume leaking.

Sorry also forgot to say the large jack adaptor is playing up and cuts out occasionally, so I'll include an additional gold plated one that works perfectly.

Also the foam semi circles that are part of the packaging got sent with another pair I sold on eBay they are really not important at all and most people throw them away anyway!
