Very much a Beatles fan. However I have some Sam Cooke albums and the quality is superb, I strongly recommend Sams 50s hits album it’s just superb quality and questions what modern recording engineers are doing. I have a 1955 Julie London album and again the sound is fantastic , I can not recommend these albums enough.

Otherwise I jump to 80s music, pretenders, blondie etc

My Lector Cd has very much got me interested again in cd,s as the system has a valve output and wow does it make a difference, a CD player with a superb bass.

Regards
Mike
